Baking Chocolate Baking Cocoa Powder
Brown Sugar

Brown Splenda

Buttermilk

Yogurt OR Milk + 1 Tbs. Lemon Juice/Vinegar

Heavy Cream

Light Cream OR Half & Half OR Evaporated Skim Milk

Oil

Applesauce OR Baby Prunes

Sour Cream

Plain Greek Yogurt

White Sugar

Splenda

White Flour

½ White Flour + ½ Whole Wheat Flour

Whole Egg

Egg Substitute OR Egg

 

Healthy Cooking Methods

  

  • Grains:   

    • Go Whole!

  • Veggies:  

    • Sprinkle, Don’t Dump on Sauces/Dressings

  • Fruit:

    • Eat it Don’t Drink it

  • Milk:

    • Less Fat = More Nutrients

  • Meat & Beans:

    • Bake, Broil, Grill, Roast, Poach, or Boil

    • Go “Vegetarian” Once a Week

    • Low Fat & Extra Lean = J
