Diablo Clinical Research Welcomes Mark Christiansen, MD as our Phase I Medical Director

As part of our Phase I expansion, Diablo Clinical Research is pleased to announce that Dr. Mark Christiansen will be our Phase I Medical Director, effective January 1st, 2009.
Dr. Christiansen has been a sub-investigator/principal investigator and Phase I physician with Diablo Clinical Research since 2007 in a part-time capacity. He specializes in both endrocrinology and interanl medicine and has extensive experience in glucose clamp studies.
Dr. Christiansen has conducted over eighty clinical research studies including, but not limited to, diabetes type 1 and type 2, neuropathy, dyslipidemia, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and obesity. He participated in clinical research for over eight years at the University of California, San Francisco and maintained his private practice in Pleasanton for six years.
Dr. Christiansen's certifications include the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism and he is a certified clinical densitometrist.
We are very fortunate to have Dr. Christiansen join our research team in a full-time capacity as medical director of our Phase I facility.
