Cholesterol

Cholesterol is a lipid, a type of fat found in the body. Diablo Clinical Research conducts Cholesterol studies in both treated and untreated patients. The studies that we conduct focus on testing potential new treatments for low HDL (high density lipids also known as highly desirable or “good” cholesterol), high LDL (low density lipids also known as least desirable or “bad” cholesterol), and high triglycerides (fat in the blood).
