Atopic Dermatitis(AD or Eczema)is very common and often chronic, affecting a large percentage of the world's population. In Atopic Dermatitis, the skin becomes itchy, inflamed, causing redness, swelling, cracking, and scaling. Many are of unknown causes, but some seem to be a combination of genetic and environmental factors. More than 15 million people in the United States have symptoms of Atopic Dermatis.
